-40 C with wind chill expected on monday

An alert was issued by Environment Canada at 3:35 p.m. on Sunday afternoon for Rocky View County just outside of Calgary, warning of extremely cold wind chills near -40 expected overnight and early Monday morning. Despite temperatures being described as "moderate" on Monday, there is a possibility of extreme cold returning in the evening. Environment Canada also mentioned that temperatures will see a more significant moderation on Tuesday.
